If you climb with your family you need to look after them.

The first rule of remote first aid is to let someone know where you are going.

Use this app to input your trip details so if something goes wrong, help will be on the way.

No one wants their kids to suffer unnecessarily. If it can get help to your kids a few hours earlier it is worth it.

Life is all about having adventures so get out there and let someone know where you are and if things don't go as you expect. It is only going to happen rarely, when it does it's important that you have done this to look after your family.

Climb By Yourself?

Be honest - how often do you tell someone where you are going and when you are expected back. Almost never, I bet. And that is fine 99% of the time.

It's the 0.01% of the time when something happens - people need to know where you are. This is a system so the people you trust can come and find you or alert emergency services to find you if you are in real trouble.

If you get back it time hit "I'm safe", no sms will be sent.

If you don't get back in time:

10-20 minutes after you will get an sms asking if you are safe
30-40 minutes after your friends will get an sms with your trip details
24 hours afterwards an sms suggesting that if they have not found you they should contact emergency services.

Look after the people who love you by looking after yourself.
