How do I find the path?

Should I do the walk in the beginning of September or later in October?
You'll see different wildflowers at different times. It depends on the season, they are opten in the peak at around the 21st of September, the spring equinox.
What Should I Bring?
This is a very exposed walk on wide fire trails, it can get backing hot, take a lot of water, at least 4L each.

Should I start at the bottom of the hill or drive to the top and park there?
At the moment the road is in very good condition so you should be fine to drive up to ironbark picnic area.
Should I see Ironbark Falls while I am there there?
Yes, Ironbark falls is only a short drive away and is a short walk, worth seeing before you walk to the emerald pool (The Ironbark Falls walk is only 600m).
