Friends find me is a phone application that is being developed to let your friends know where you are adventuring if you don't get back in time so they can come and find you. It is a hike safety app.

Here is how it works:
You put in your plan for your hike or your current location

This gets sent to a server so that if you lose your phone or are out of range it will still let your friends know to come looking for you.

At the same time, I don't want to let my friends know every time I go for a short adventure, that would be very annoying. And part of getting out there is enjoying the solitude, not having to communicate constantly with other people.
